The first and second picture shows Shanghai in January 2015. Clouds are looking like a ghost over the town. 30 seconds exposure time and a little bit post processed with Photo Shop

The third picture in this post was done with a very short shutter speed and is under exposed to get the buildings black and show only the silhouette.
I did the shot shortly after the sun disappeared behind the building.

The fourth one of the Shanghai skyline I took already in June 2014.
It is a long time exposure of several seconds. The horizontal light lines are caused by a ship that passed the scene.
